ISLI Visual Identity
YUVA have recently been working with the Institute of System Level Integration (ISLI) re-designing their corporate and academic brand identity. Our design is based on the Loxodrome shape; a spiral curve on the surface of a sphere, which crosses all meridians of longitude at the same angle. We were also tasked with creating complementary imagery that could be used over print and online campaigns. For this we were inspired by ‘rainbow’ coloured computer cables from the early 80s, giving the brand and site a retro but technical feel.
Revolver PR
YUVA have just completed the revamped revolver-pr website along with a new treatment for their brand.
The Celtic House
YUVA have just completed a new online shop, The Celtic House. C & E Roy has drawn on the culture and history of the island of Islay as inspiration for an ever evolving range of Celtic inspired jewellery, with designs dating from as far back the 12th century. Be sure to check out the great Ralph Steadman distillery water colours!
Angharad Mclaren
YUVA just launched the new website for contemporary textile designer, Angharad Mclaren. A current design project of hers is to recycle ropes which have been washed up on the beaches of Shetland by weaving them into a limited edition range of cushions, table mats and coasters. This project will continue with local craftspeople to boost the socioeconomic climate and to help keep Shetland’s natural environment free from rubbish.

A Very Scottish Writer
YUVA have been busy making websites recently! We launched a new site to promote the works of a now deceased Scottish writer called Elizabeth Macpherson. She wrote a column in the Glasgow Herald from 1945 onwards, documenting what life was like living on a small croft in Morayshire.
